 "Simone! Get off your phone please... You've been staring at it for the past hour...", her father asked in an irritated manner.
Simone sighed. "I didn't ask to spend all my time today on a three hour drive to uncle Marcus, my least favorite uncle, for one of my least favorite family party of the year..."
Her father answered in a strict voice. "Your uncle has been doing his best to get his life together! Hosting this party is his chance to prove he's managed that."

"Who's Kevin?", her father asked, trying to ignore Simone's remarks on his brother.
"My boyfriend.", she said.
Her dad frowned. "I thought Alex was your boyfriend?"
"Oh my god dad... That's three weeks ago...", Simone said dramatically. She put on her headphones and played her music loudly, while texting with Kevin.

Harry sighed... "I wish her mother was here...", he thought to himself. "Sara would know how to handle her, how to get through to her..."
He knew that Marcus was no good... His brother had gotten a job as some salesman years ago and made tons of money, in every way he could. Marcus never cared for his relations and spent all his days being an arsehole essentially... But for him, he was still his brother, and he loved him. He just wished his daughter could see him in a different light, give her uncle a chance to do better...

Meanwhile Simone was listening to her music and still texting her boyfriend, Kevin. Kevin was handsome, smart... He could be the one! She got a bit flustered. She really liked him. 

"Kevin: I hope you'll have a good time!

Simone smiled widely, but her smile vanished as soon as she saw her father's sad look in the mirror. She shouldn't have lashed out at him... It was just... She really hated visiting her uncle. She never understood why her father kept giving her uncle chance upon chance to prove himself, failing every time in the process... But that didn't mean she didn't want her father to have a good time tonight and maybe feel some happiness again... After her mother passed 4 years earlier, he had never been the same again. Before that, he used to be happy all the time, running around with a big smile and joking around at every chance he got. 

Her thoughts were interrupted by an incoming videocall that sounded through her headphones. The caller ID said: "Arabelle FG". Confused she accepted the call. On her screen she saw a little creature, with sparkling green eyes and golden blonde long hair. She seemed to be fluttering in the air with her glowing blue wings and she was wearing a scantly green costume that was barely covering her large-breasts and was showing off her long legs. 

"Hi Simone" The small creature on her screen said. "I am Arabelle, your fairy godmother. I have been chosen to grant your wishes."

"What are you?" She couldn't believe it, this thing was her... fairy godmother? It couldn't be..."

Arabelle sighed, it was the same explanation time and time again... 

"A child left by its mother gets assigned a fairy godmother. Sometimes, there's just a bit of delay, because of all the paperwork and the limited amount of fairy godmothers. But nevermind that, here I am!"

"All you have to do is call my name and I will come. Then just name your wish. It can be a wish for yourself or someone else, but only YOU can make the wish."

Simone couldn't believe it. This had to be some kind of joke by Kevin, to make her smile. She laughed.

"So what will your wish be?", her fairy godmother happily asked.

Simone smiled, "Good one Kevin! I don't know how you pulled this one off baby."

The fairy godmother looked at her with a confused look... 

"If you really want to make me happy, Kevin, I wish you would just be here, getting to know my dad. I'm sure you would find a way to make him smile too. And while you're at it, I just wish I would enjoy this party at my uncle's... That would really make my dad happy again."

Arabelle inwardly sighed... She probably shouldn't have shown up via videocall, her fairy godchild was clearly not convinced of her existance, thinking it was some prank by her boyfriend... 
But no problem, she formulated wished anyway! Simone had expressed her wishes, now her job was to grant them. Two wishes at once, this called for some effort. She froze time.

Simone looked in shock as everything around her, herself included, froze in time and the fairy godmother flew right out of her phone into the car. She wanted to scream, but couldn't move anything except her eyes while watching the fairy's magic happen.

Simone's hopes vanished as soon as they came as she noticed Arabelle's magic surrounding Kevin once again. She gasped in horror, her boyfriend started transforming in front of her eyes. Simone didn't understand... What was happening... First her boyfriend had transformed into her father's new girlfriend, she still couldn't move and her father and Kev... Her thoughts were interrupted as she noticed the car stopping, they had arrived at her uncle's.

While her father was getting out of the car he tried to reassure Kailey.
"Listen baby, you don't have to be nervous to meet Marcus. He's amazing and I'm sure both he and his wife will like you. I'm just curious to what they have to announce, on the phone he said..."
